- Is this a good scope? It seems like a cheap price. >These are great scopes for recreational shooters. We have sold a number of these scopes to U.S. military personnel for use in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as police officers here at home. If you need a scope for law enforcement or military duty, we recommend looking at some of the EOTech, Burris, or Leupold scopes, but these scopes have worked well for our military and law enforcement customers.
- Can I mount this scope on the carry handle of my AR15? > Yes, you just need an AR-15 Carry Handle Scope Mount. We recommend item #MAR6 AR-15 Scope Mount
- Does this scope come with lens covers? >Yes, it comes with rubber "bikini" style lens covers.
- What is the MOA or Click Adjustment? >1/2 Minute of Angle (MOA) Windage & Elevation Adjustments
- Will the front sight be in the way? Do I need a riser? >The front sight will not be a problem at 4x magnification and above. Under 4x you will see a shadow in the bottom of the field of view from the front sight.
- Is there enough clearance for a folded rear sight? > It depends. There is about 1/2" clearance between the eye piece of the scope and the rifle. Most Low-Profile rear sights will lay down under the scope without a problem. In the pictures above, the scope is mounted on a rifle with a Midwest Industries Low Profile rear sight.
