Shuts off during shooting |

I have purchased three of these green laser sights and at first they were good. Nice bright laser during the day. Then after a couple hundred rounds from various calibers the laser started to shut off during shooting. Then you would have to tap the side to get it to come back on. I only use these for target shooting so no big deal but if you are in a tactical situation and that happens that is not good. I have them mounted on a 22 7.62 and 9mm. The only one I have had no problem with so far is the 9mm and I have not shot that rifle very much. So I would choose something a little more reliable if this is for a duty weapon

Definately cool, but not great. |

I'm a LEO and have this installed on my personally owned duty M4. It's very bright, looks really cool, seems durable, it was easy to zero, and can be very intimidating. That's about the end of the good stuff.
The cons: It's heavy, it's bulky, and it doesn't function anywhere below 50 degrees. Also the tailcap switch is terrible, it works about 3/4 the time. The rest it doesn't turn on or it lights up very dim until you push on it in a different spot. The remote pressure switch works better but it's of low quality. I couldn't get it to stick worth a damn so I had to switch back to the tailcap. (Note to NC Star, make a screw in mount pressure switch!) I zeroed it with my sights an took it out to do some shooting. After 25 rounds it was WAY off. I haven't fired it since re-zeroing but I'm hoping things just needed to bed in a little and this won't be a constant issue.
I would be hesitant about recommending this. You get what you pay for. Decent but far from great.

Best Green Laser Sight Out There! |

Just got back from taking my green laser sight to the range and I love it. Installed easily on the rail of my AR15. Very bright! I recommend this green laser sight to anyone looking for a good laser.

I tried a cheaper green laser sight and it was junk. This laser sight is awesome. I can see it over a mile away at night! Super powerful. Thanks Valhalla!
